The Classic Formula:
Determine the key takeaway of your presentation. Start by telling your audience what your message will be. Then relay the message. Finally, conclude by reminding your audience of the message.

Carnegie’s Magic Formula:
Tell an intriguing story related to your presentation topic. Then suggest an actionable step the audience should take, explaining how they would benefit from doing so.

The Churchill Formula:
Begin with a strong opening statement, then focus on a specific and succinct message. Repeat that message in simple and descriptive terms, and conclude with a bang (Churchill punctuated his speeches with swigs of gin, which we at Mammoth Marketing don’t recommend!).

The TED Formula:
Start with a personal story that illustrates your investment in the topic at hand. Then tell a few more personal stories before drawing a striking conclusion that your audience will feel compelled to share on social media.
