Each chance to help our community is something that sparks joy in our Mammoth Marketing office. We actively seek opportunities year-round to give back to others through volunteer activities, fundraising, and donations. Recently we took part in a time-honored Aurora tradition: “Shop with a Cop.”
“Not only do we love to help our community, but we love to support kids in need,” said Meghan, our Mammoth Marketing Director of Operations. “Shop with a Cop is a great way to give kids a leg up by providing them money to purchase school supplies they might otherwise go without.”
As Meghan explained, the program is coordinated and executed through the Aurora Police Association. “Each child is provided with a $200 Walmart gift card and assigned a member of the police force with whom he or she will go through the store and purchase supplies,” she said.
On average, anywhere from 75 to 100 underserved children in Aurora are tapped to participate in the program each year. “Mammoth Marketing was proud to raise funds and sponsor two children this year,” Meghan shared. “It’s heartwarming to know that these children will have the supplies they need to learn better in school. We understand how important it is to have the necessary tools to feel confident when accomplishing goals. This program helps these children meet that need.”
